Mr. Crockett served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Bandsman (Tech-5) Corporal E-3. He performed duties in the 1332nd Engineers Battalion as a Musician. He played the saxophone in the Military Band at dances\, at Military functions\, and in Military Parades. He served 6 months in the European Theater and 6 months in the Pacific Theater.
