ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of MT2 Nathan Andrew Castor, United States Navy, to stand in his honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery. Petty Officer Castor honorably served in the United States Navy from Jul 2016 until Apr 2019. Petty Officer Castor was assigned to the USS Alabama (SSBN 731, Blue Crew) and had earned the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal and various other awards.Honors will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at 1500, Site “A”.

Special Instructions:

Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts and trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and proper eye protection. This attire will always be worn while riding aboard the base.
1:00 pm – Safety brief for all riders
1:15 pm – KSU to Trahan Family Funeral Home
1:30 pm – Arrival at Trahan Family Funeral Home
2:00 pm – Roll Time to Barrancas National Cemetery, with LEO escort
3:00 pm – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
