The family of MSgt (E-7) Scheet has invited the Patriot Guard to stand in honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery for final honors. MSgt Scheet retired after more than 23 years of Honorable service on 30 June of 1978 at Ellsworth AFB South Dakota. National Cremation and Burial Society, 5641 Hwy 90 W. Milton, Florida is in charge of the services. Honors will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery at 1150. LEO Escort will depart at 1015 from Milton.
We will stage with the first mission at Hardee’s, 805 Navy Blvd, Pensacola at 0800. Detailed personnel will depart Hardee’s at 0900 for the National Cremation and Burial Society to arrive prior to 1015 and escort MSgt Scheet to Barrancas for honors.
Naval Air Station requires that we wear long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection, this attire will be worn at all times while riding on the base.
Itinerary:
0900 – 1000 Family visitation
1015 – Depart w/LEO for Barrancas
1150 – Honors at Barrancas
