Joseph served from December  1975 to June 2007 as an Aircraft Communications and Navigations Systems  Specialist and was honorably discharged at the rank of MSgt (E-7). He  served in support of Desert Storm contingency (Southern Watch) in 1994  and Operation Noble Eagle in Utah during 2002.
