Vietnam War Veteran
The family of MSgt Jackie Wayne Anderson, United States Marine Corps (Ret) has invited the Patriot Guard to stand in his honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery for final Honors. MSgt Anderson joined the U. S. Marine Corps on 5 December 1967, he served for 20 years, 9 months and 16 days; he retired on 20 September 1988. During his service MSgt Anderson was awarded the Good Conduct Medal w/6 stars; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal w/ 1 star; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device; Navy Achievement Medal w/1 star; Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/Palm and Frame; Sea Service Deployment Ribbon w/1 star; Navy Unit Commendation; Meritorious Unit Citation; Meritorious Mast (2); Rifle Sharpshooter Badge; Pistol Expert Badge (4th Award).
The family will be in charge of all arrangements. MSgt Anderson will be escorted to Barrancas National Cemetery for Honors and Interment at 11:05 am, Friday, 22 July 2016.
Naval Air Station requires that you ride with long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT Approved helmets, leather foot wear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection. This attire will be maintained at all times while riding aboard the base.
Note: For Safety reasons, all riders will attend the Safety Brief.
