The family of Master Sergeant Gary S. Schaeffer has requested that we stand tall and silent in a flag line of respect and honor prior to the services for their loved one. It will be our privilege and honor to do so.
During his over 26 years service to our country during the war in Korea and the Global War on Terrorism, Hero Schaeffer served as a Supply Management Craftsman who earned and received many awards and decorations including The Korean Service Medal, GWOT Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal w/7 devices, Meritorious Service Medal w/1 device, Air Force Commendation Medal w/1 device, National Defense Service Medal w/1 bronze service star and the small arms Expert Marksmanship ribbon/Rifle as well as many others.
Please join me in standing tall, silent and respectful in a flag line of honor for this American Warrior. Stand down Sir; your watch here has been completed. Your next duty station will be to patrol the skies of Heaven.
We come to thank you and honor you for your service to our nation. Your service allows us the freedoms we enjoy today. You will never be forgotten.
