Patriot Honor Guards Escort/Rider Policy:
SAFETY IS ALWAYS A PRIORITY!
Those who do not attend the mission briefing will not be allowed to participate in an escort.
All those wishing to participate in a PHG escort must be at the staging area before the mission begins for our ride briefing. The briefing will have safety information as well as any particulars that have come up for that mission.
Each person who rides on a PHG mission is responsible for his/her own skill/comfort level. Physical needs may also be a factor in your participation. PHG ask that you use good judgment before participating in a mission.
It is the policy of Patriot Honor Guards that the following will not be tolerated.
· Breaking of motor vehicle laws.
· No running of stop signs. The group will slow and wait for you to catch up.
· Cutting in front of a motor vehicle. Leave the proper spacing when moving back in front of a motor vehicle.
· Cutting in and out of lanes. Follow the direction of the Ride Captain.
When riding in formation, do not allow large spaces between the bikes. Always ride in staggered formation. If motor vehicles need to merge from a ramp fall back and give them space. The Ride Captain will regroup after the vehicle has gone.
All those who participate in Patriot Honor Guards as escorts do so at their own risk. PHG is not responsible for any accidents that may happen during an escort due to human or mechanical error.
