DESCRIPTION:The family of William “Gene” Miller has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard at their loved ones memorial service and we will honor that request!! \nA “Welcoming Committee” was NOT what Gene Miller got when he returned home from one of his two tours in Viet Nam. He was one of those soldiers who was spat upon when he returned to what should’ve been a grateful nation. \nGene retired from the USAR after 26 yrs. as a Drill Sergeant with the rank of Master Sergeant. \nFollowing active duty in the Army\, he was employed at the University of Virginia Hospital where he was a medical plasmapheresis specialist.
