US Army Korean Veteran

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of MSgt Richard Davis, US Army to Escort and Stand in Silent Honor of their American Hero.
MSgt Richard Davis graduated from Blairsville and joined the Army during World War II. He returned home after the war. The Korean War gave him a reason to re-enlist and he became an Army Master Sergeant. Davis was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, near Unsan, North Korea, when the Chinese People’s Volunteer Force attacked the regiment.
