Brill to stand a flag line for the dignified transfer and to escort Mr. Brill and his family to Cold Spring Cemetery for a funeral service with full military honors.\n\nWhen/Where:\nMonday\, July 25\, 2016 \nHopewell Junction\, NY\n\nWe will stand a flag line for the dignified transfer\, then escort MSG Barry A. Brill and family to the Cold Spring Cemetery. \nMission Narrative:\nMaster Sergeant Brill proudly served our country in the U.S. Army for the last 22 years. He began his career as an MP in the U.S. Army\, serving at Fort Polk\, Fort Hood\, and Ansbach\, Germany. He joined the New York National Guard as an AGR soldier in 2007. MSG Brill was the proud recipient of the Bronze Star Medal\, Army Commendation Medal\, Afghanistan Campaign Medal\, Army Good Conduct Medal\, as well as other awards. \nMSG Brill was an avid endurance runner and cyclist\, selected as the Army’s 2006 Male Athlete of the Year. Barry was a member of the All Army Sports Team and All Guard Marathon Team. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 as a member of the New York Stability Transition Team. He was the Battalion Operations NCO for the 104th MP BN.
