His  family has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his services  and we will be honored to do so. \nL.C. Griffing proudly served in the US Marine Corp from 1969 to 1972.   After training at Camp Lejeune\, N. C. he was stationed on Okinawa before  being sent to Vietnam.  He was a member of a mortar crew.  He also  served at Guantanamo Bay as an M.P. The PGR will stand a silent US flag line during  the graveside service. \nThe PGR has been asked to serve as Pall Bearers.
