  2. Mission Complete: 21 October 2019– Pvt. Monty Dean Garst, USANG, Okla. City, OK.

On Weds. 21 October 2019, there were 11 Patriot Guard Riders on 8 bikes and 2 cages who attended the mission to Honor the Military Service of USANG Pvt. Monty Dean Garst.

The briefing was held, followed by a moment of silence for the Blue, Silver, & Gold Star families, POWs and MIAs. A prayer asking comfort for the grieving family, a safe mission and protection for our military personnel engaged in the Global War on Terror was also said.

American Flags and the Army Service Flag were staked and flying proudly. We manned the doors as family and friends arrived for the service. When the service started, PGR members returned the flags to the flag vehicle. With the help of a fellow rider the RC and PGR member gave out presentations of the plaque and invocation to Pvt. Garst’s wife. This concluded the mission.

Thank you to my fellow PGR for attending this mission. Your presence made a difference to this family.
Most of all, thank you Pvt. Monty Dean Garst for your service to this great nation. Stand down Sir, your watch is over, and you will not be forgotten.

    Respectfully,
    RCIC: Dennis Denson
