We will be accompanying the LEO led escort with Ga State Patrol and Marietta PD as the military unit deploys.

Special Instructions:

Please be on time will have a short briefing at approximately 05:00 am then depart at 05:30 am.
We will have 2 GSP officers escort us to the departure location and Marietta PD escort as well.
We will have flag wagon and large flags available. Bike flags encourage, but highway speeds.
Weather is uncertain, but dress appropriately.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The PGR has been requested to provide an escort for military personnel who will be departing for missions elsewhere. It is our honor to be invited to tell them, “Thank You for Your Service” as they depart to protect our freedoms.

Please read special instructions for mission requirements and details.

Briefing: 7:10 A.M.

KSU: 7:15 A.M.

After the briefing, we will depart for the link up point. Upon arrival we will wait for the departure time and then perform an escort at speeds up to 55 mph for 13 miles. More details will be provided at the briefing. The mission should conclude NLT 8:30 A.M.

If you are set up to fly flags, please fly them and inspect your mounts for safety.

We will be entering a federal installation, so NO WEAPONS are allowed.

Please wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). A reflective vest//garment is NOT required. PPE includes helmet, glasses or googles, long fingered gloves, over the ankle boots, long sleeves and long pants.
