ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of CMSgt Miles N Mathews Jr, Unites States Air Force, has graciously invited the Patriot Guard to escort Chief Mathews to Barrancas National Cemetery, and stand a silent flag line during Military Honors. CMSgt Mathews was 92 years of age and honorably served for over 24 years in the United States Air Force before being medically retired on 30 June 1970.

Special Instructions:
The Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles, and appropriate eye protection. This attire will always be worn while riding aboard the base.

1230 – Roll time to Barrancas with escort
1300 – Interment at Barrancas National Cemetery – Site “A”
