ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Vietnam Veteran Mike Araujo, 70, has requested the PGR participate in his Funeral service.  Araujo enlisted in the United States Army in 1967. He was on the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone where he was wounded. Mike was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star and Honorably Discharged on November 17, 1970. Mike was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans Association. Mass Of Christian Burial will be on June 29, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

    The family of Vietnam Veteran Mike Araujo, 70, has requested the PGR participate in his Funeral service in Lexington, escort to Fort McPherson National Cemetery and his Cemetery service on FRIDAY, JUNE 29, 2018 starting at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 1003 Taft St, Lexington, NE 68850

    Veteran Araujo enlisted in the United States Army in 1967. He was in the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone where he was wounded during the Vietnam War. Mike was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star while serving his country and was honorably discharged on November 17, 1970.

    Mike was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans Association. Mass Of Christian Burial will be on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 1003 Taft St, Lexington, NE 68850.     The PGR has been asked to escort our Hero on his final journey to the Fort McPherson National Cemetery. The cemetery service is scheduled for 11:30am. Ride Captains Gary Smith and Henry Russell are Honoring another Hero, Leland Williams, at his Funeral Mission in North Platte and Cemetery service at Fort McPherson scheduled for 12:15pm. Gary and Henry will collaborate with and support the Veteran Mike Araujo Mission Ride Captains at Fort McPherson.
