ABOUT THE MISSION:
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, we have been invited to stand for Michael Lewis, age 59. Michael served in the US Army for 11 Years and then the US Army Reserves for 18 years. In 2003 he was called to Active Duty at Ft. Lewis, WA with the 396th Combat Support Hospital out of FT. Vancouver as a 66H Medical Surgical Nurse. He was Honorably Retired in 2004 at the rank of Captain (O3).
During his long years of service he earned the Army Commendation Award w/ 2 bronze oak leafs, Army Achievement Medal w/ 1 bronze oak leaf, the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal w/ 4 bronze oak leafs, National Defense Service Medal w/ 1 bronze service star, Armed Forces Reserve Medal Mobilization Device, Southwest Asia Service Medal w 2 bronze service stars, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon, the NATO Medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal and the Saudi Arabian Liberation of Kuwait Medal. Please join us as we pay our respects and honor his service to our nation.
