The Patriot Guard has been asked to stand in honor for Mr. Michael Szot, United States Marine Corps veteran, serving in Hawaii from 1969 until he was honorably discharged in 1971. Mr. Szot also served as a member and President of the Oxford, New Jersey Fire Department and was employed in the construction industry.
Michael Szot’s Services are scheduled for September 14 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Devoe Funeral Home, 136 West Washington Avenue, Washington, New Jersey 07882.
This will be a flag line only with no cemetery escort.
The visitation will start at 10:00 and a service will take place, starting at 12:00. There will be no graveside services. We will dismiss at the beginning of the memorial service and QUIETLY leave the area.
Staging:
We will stage at the Washington Diner

Washington, NJ 07882
beginning at 0830 hrs.
KSU will be at 0920 hrs. It is less than a mile to the funeral home.
Flagline to be in place by 0930 hrs.
Weather is predicted at this time to be sunny, low 50’s at 9AM to mid 60’s by noon.
