ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of ET-2 (E-5), Michael Raymond Young, age 55, United States Navy, to stand in his honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery. Mr. Young served in the United States Navy for 6 years and was honorably discharged 23 July 1991. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with Star, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (3D award), Good Conduct Medal and Navy Efficiency Battle E award.

Special Instructions:

CAUTION: The Naval Air Station requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long-fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection. This attire will be maintained always while riding aboard the base.
12:30 PM – Briefing for all riders
12:45 PM – KSU to Olive Baptist Church, Warrington Campus
                    103  W. Winthrop Ave., Pensacola, Fl.
1:15 PM   – KSU to Barrancas National Cemetery
1:30 PM  – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery Site B

Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
