ABOUT THE MISSION:

Michael Lynn Burrell started his career in the United States Air Force after high school and worked his way up to become a crew chief. He received the following awards: Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award and the Southwest Asia Service Medal. He was a veteran of the Gulf War and also served with the Air Force in Turkey and Korea. After his retirement from the Air Force Michael served as a detective at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico.

We will accompany the LEO led escort to the cemetery and stand a flag line for the grave side service.
The escort is 4.5 miles west of Metter to Lake Church Cemetery.
