DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nMichael Anthony Amig\, Retired\nUSN – GW/ODS\, WoT\nJacksonville Beach\, Florida – 06-19-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe family and friends of LCDR Michael Anthony Amig have graciously requested the Patriot Guard Riders’ presence to escort them and their loved one from Jacksonville Beach to Jacksonville National Cemetery\, and then silently stand a flag line as they show their final respects to him.\nLCDR Michael Anthony Amig served his country for 23 years\, enlisting in the US Navy in 1981 and retiring in 2004. LCDR Amig served at many commands\, among them on the USS O’Bannon (DD 987)\, NAVSPACECOM DET APLHA\, and COMCARGRU SIX. When he attained the rank of Operations Specialist Chief Petty Officer (OSC)\, he put in for and was selected to the Limited Duty Officer (LDO) program. He attained and retired at the rank of Lieutenant Commander (LCDR).
