Memorial Service – Police K-9 BUZZ

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in Honor of Police K-9 Officer BUZZ. K-9 Officer Buzz – approximately 11 years of age, had 10 years of service with the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department, Michigan. K-9 Buzz, a Chocolate Labrador Retriever, was born April 06 2008 at Auburn University’s Canine Detection Training Center (AL) and then spent a year in the Auburn Dog Prison Program in Florida. At 14 months old, he became a member of the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department with partner and friend, Special Deputy/Forensic K-9 handler Sue Stejskal. The team provided service as a human remains detector (HRD) or cadaver dog team for almost 10 years throughout the Midwest, US and Ontario, working on both land and water recoveries and cases. K-9 BUZZ died March 26 of this year. Please come and stand for this Fallen K-9 Officer that gave his all to save others and recover the ones that were missing.

Parking for Motorcycle will be on sidewalk pass the parking lot toward Milford Rd.
