SUMMARY:Memorial - Ride for the Blue / San Bernardino\, LA\, OC\, San Diego
DESCRIPTION:The Patriot Guard Riders in Southern California has been aware of recent tragic events having to do with our local Heroes\, our Law Enforcement community\, that have occurred throughout the country. We thought\, what can we do to show our respect and support?\n\nWe can’t do much\, but we can do SOMETHING! \nWe came up with a Ride For The Blue to show our support. This ride will serve to thank our Law Enforcement Officers for putting on the uniform every day and putting themselves at risk to keep us safe here on the home front\, very much like our troops put on the uniform to keep us safe around the world. \nWe do not take that commitment and effort lightly\, we Appreciate you\, Respect you and Honor you!! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! \nWe will be riding through the parking lots of all departments with “Thunder”\, we will not be there to disrupt their daily routine. \nNOTE: To show your support if you are able please wear blue. If you have flag poles on your bike a nice gesture would be to fly a blue streamer from the top of the pole. \nNOTE: Those who cannot attend the entire ride are encouraged to meet at the fuel locations to join the ride\, please be there at least 30 minutes before each scheduled stop if you wish to join. \nNOTE: Cages are welcome on the ride\, riding at the back of the group in the normal formation for safety sake. \nNOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these Law Enforcement Heros. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. If you wish to join the ride at any point please arrive at staging areas below 30 min early.\n\nThe weather is predicted to be hot please stay hydrated and don’t forget to eat\, it can make a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.\n\nTime table for Sunday\, 24 July: \nPart 1 \n0600 – Stage at Target 499 W Orange Show Rd\, San Bernardino\, CA 92408 (East end) – https://goo.gl/maps/oxfqq97QZEr \n0630 – Mission Briefing \n0645 – KSU to San Bernardino County Sheriffs Headquarters at: 655 E 3rd St\, San Bernardino\, CA 92408 – Followed by the San Bernardino Police Department HQ at: 710 N D St\, San Bernardino\, CA 92401 – https://goo.gl/maps/mXkEziaDzPK2 (15miles) \n0725 – KSU to Los Angeles Police Headquarters Memorial (100 West 1st Street\, Los Angeles\, CA 90012) and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Headquarters (211 W Temple St\, Los Angeles\, CA 90012) – https://goo.gl/maps/RHN7vtQEkCL2 (61 miles) \n0845 – KSU to Staging Area 2 Target Shopping Center – Target\, 12051 Imperial Highway\, Norwalk\, CA 90650 – https://goo.gl/maps/y7nVYZKopgJ2 (Fuel and Food.
