ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been invited to stand a flag line at a service honoring the 599 veterans that are buried at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Oak Harbor. This event has been 6 months in the planning and will include all of the Service Organizations in Oak Harbor and many of the Civic Organizations and the ROTC of Oak Harbor. This is an annual event and the organizer is hoping to make this one the biggest and best ever.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.

We have been invited by the Minnesota National Guard to stand a flag line honoring all the men and women we have lost fighting the war on terrorism since 9/11 2000

At a special service to be held on Sunday 27May2012 at 1100 hrs on Camp Ripley at the Chapel we will assemble to pay our respects to these soldiers.

Staging at the Canteen 9:30 am
Briefing at 10:00 am
Set flag line 10:15 am

We will stand down after the start of the service and move to the staging area for the Memorial Day Ceremony at the MN State Veterans Cemetery

This will be a rain or shine mission, remember to bring your 3×5 flag, and anything else you may need to be self sufficient for the day.
If you are riding motorcycle you will be required to wear full PPE gear while on post,This includes helmet, appropriate eye wear, HiVis vest or belt, long sleeves, over the ankle boots and gloves
