Memorial Day Service

ABOUT THE MISSION:

It is a most distinct honor and a privilege for the Patriot Guard Riders, at the request of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, to stand a flag-line in honor and respect for our Veterans during the Memorial Service at the Mount Rose Cemetery in Lebanon, MO.

Special Instructions:

Cages are welcome, to cut down on congestion we will try to carpool from Lowe’s to the cemetery.
KSU: 10:30 AM, ride to the cemetery, about 1 1/2 miles, and stand a flag-line there.
Service: 11:00 AM, Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe is scheduled to speak.  VFW is scheduled to render honors.
If raining the service will be conducted inside the chapel which seats approx. 50 people.  Bring your rain gear and be prepared to stand outside during the ceremony.
***All CDC guidelines for social distancing will be practiced during the mission.***Flag holders will be 6 feet apart.
PPE: You are welcome to bring and wear masks and gloves at your discretion.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.

The Patriot Guard has been requested and invited to participate in a Memorial Day Sunday Service in observance of the sacrifices made by Men and Woman in uniform to keep our nation’s freedom.
