ABOUT THE MISSION:

Patriots, we have the honor to attend the Eden parade.  We will need bikes in the parade, and will be walking with flags, to honor our veterans.

Special Instructions:

Everyone will gather in parking lot for parade details, the parade will leave at 4:50 pm.  Contact Norma Jean when you arrive, she is coordinating the parade.  Her cell # is 336-280-8870.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
OTTAWA, IL

The Ottawa Memorial Association will hold a their Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 28, 2012. This will be to honor our veterans, living and deceased. We would like to have the Patriotic Guard participate in the parade again this year.
The wreath ceremony will start at 9:30a at the Fox River bridge on Main street. The parade will start immediately after that coming up Columbus Street and proceeding to Washington Park where the ceremony will start at 10a.
The wreath ceremony takes approximately 5-7 minutes and the parade is only about 3-4 blocks long.
We are asking the city to let us use the whole block behind the podium for parking for motorcycles and a National Guard vehicle.
We heard a lot of compliments on your participation from last year and look forward to this year.

Standby for “sinking of the wreath” ceremony @ Fox River
Parade starts @ 1000hrs with PGR leading to Washington Park –
Flag line to be formed behind Honor Guards
