ALL PATRIOTIC RIDERS AND GROUPS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND!
The Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs has invited the Patriot Guard to participate in this year’s ceremony at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. This event will be heavily supported as well by the various branches of the military from Camp Robinson, Camp Pike, and LRAFB. What a great opportunity to thank these patriots for their service, while we honor and remember those that have been laid to rest in this hallowed land of glory!
Rolling Thunder will place (May 24th) and pick up flags (May 29th) at the grave markers for this event. Contact Kerry Gore at 501-834-5456 if you would like to volunteer to assist in this effort. Bravo Zulu to Rolling Thunder for all they do to support and remember our veterans!
Due to severely limited parking, PGR will stage at the north end of the Walmart parking lot and ride in as a group to a reserved area in the maintenance yard. No stragglers will be allowed in after the group arrives. All cages and stragglers will go to Woody’s Sherwood Forest just east of the cemetery on Maryland Ave. for parking and transportation on shuttles. Handicapped parking will be provided and shuttled from the Pulaski Tech College campus located on the NLR airport property across from the cemetery. In the event of rain, the ceremony will shift to Woody’s Sherwood Forest.
