Memorial Day Ceremony
Pelion, South Carolina – 05-25-20
ABOUT THE MISSION:
The organizers of the Ruritan Pelion Veterans Memorial Ceremony have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the Memorial Day ceremony at their town memorial. The PGR has stood the last five Memorial Day weekends at this very memorial as it has become an annual event to remember those fallen memorialized in granite. Memorial Day weekend is the single busiest time for members of the PGR each year due to the reason of the holiday; to honor & remember those who have died in service to the United States of America. After all… this is who we are and what we do… Patriots who know how to honor our Fallen Heroes. We are honored to have been invited to participate again on Monday, 25 May 20 at 1000 (10:00 am). Members of community, Veterans, JROTC, Pelion HS Band, guest speakers and Ruritan Club members will also participate in the ceremony. This is a one part mission, but please read special instructions for additional information.
