ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Great Lakes National Cemetery has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders once again assist in coordinating the flow of traffic and parking before and after the Memorial Day Services at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Sunday May 26, 2019. Your participation is greatly appreciated by the Great Lakes National Cemetery staff and the Advisory Council. Join us in making this service for our fallen veterans a great event.

Special Instructions:

Briefing: 9:20 am
Depart for GLNC: 9:40 am
Parking Briefing: 10:00 am
Parking Assignment: 10:30 am to 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm
Following the completion of the parking detail, Patriot Guard Riders will reassemble to form a flag line at the back of the service site for the duration of said service. At the completion of the service volunteers will be needed to help transport handicapped veterans to their cars and to assist with traffic flow at the event site.
Flags & Water:
Flags will not be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked again this year to attend and participate in the annual Memorial Flag Raising Ceremony at the Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery.

Monday, 28 May 2012
Staging will be at the cemetery pavilion at 11:15 am.
