The National Infantry Museum (NIM) has once again invited the PGR to participate in a special Paver Dedication Ceremony on Monday (Memorial Day), May 30th at 10:00 a.m. (EST). This ceremony honors service members and their families past, present, and future; it’s a simple but meaningful ceremony that typically lasts about 40 minutes.
The PGR has proudly participated in this ceremony since its inception. This will be a flagline mission only. On a very special holiday, it’s a great way to remember and to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice so we could live in freedom and safety.
After the ceremony, you and your family may want to go through the National Infantry Museum…it’s a world class facility and has an excellent gift shop, restaurant and is having numerous special Memorial Day events (http://nationalinfantrymuseum.org/).
The NIM is located outside the gates of Fort Benning, so post safety equipment is encouraged but not required.
