DESCRIPTION:The family of United States Marine CPL Gurpreet Singh\, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to his 5th annual Memorial Ceremony on Sunday\, June 19th\, 2016.  Corporal Singh enlisted in the Marine Corp in 2007 and was assigned to the 1st Battalion\, 5th Marine Regiment\, 1st Marine Division\, at Camp Pendleton\, Calif.  During CPL Singh’s 2nd deployment while conducting combat operations in Helmand province\, Afghanistan he was leading his men on patrol when they encountered enemy fire and CPL Singh was struck down.  The date was June 22nd\, 2011. \nThe PGR stood for CPL Singh on his arrival at McClellan Air Park June 28th 2011 and again at his funeral service on July 2nd 2011 and at each Annual Memorial Service held for him since then. The family has asked us back to honor him again at this special memorial service and we are honored to do so. \nMISSION DETAILS:\nSunday 19 June 2016\n\n1000 hrs – STAGE at the Roseville Sikh Temple\, 1090 Main Ave.\, Roseville\, CA. \n\nMap Link:  http://tinyurl.com/6u3w4v4\n\n1030 hrs – Mission Briefing\n\n1045 hrs – Flag line in place to receive guests\n\n1145 hrs – Flag line in place for exiting guests \nSPECIAL NOTE: As is Sikh custom we are invited to join them for food and drink.  If you wish to honor their custom please be on time if you want to eat before the briefing as they start serving breakfast at 1000 hrs – or – they will be serving lunch after the ceremony if you would rather eat then.\n\nWomen attending this mission please bring a hat or scarf.
