DESCRIPTION:The Family of Randall Kanitz have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in his Honor at a Memorial Service to be held in Oakland\, IL as part of the Oakland VFW 4th of July celebration.  Sgt. Kanitz received the Bronze Star Medal with “V” Device\, the Commendation medal and the Purple Heart for heroism in ground combat against a hostile force in the Republic of Vietnam. \nMr. Kanitz passed away in November 2007 and was buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oakland. The Oakland VFW has selected Mr. Kanitz to be honored this day for his service to our Great Nation. Please join us to help pay tribute and show our respect in appreciation for his service to our Great Country at this Memorial Service. \nStaging: 1600 hrs.
