The memorial will begin at 3:00 PM. We will stage at Pete’s Gas Station 220 N Summit Street Girard\, KS 66743 at 2:15\, KSU at approximately 2:55 to ride in to begin the ceremony\, and then stand a flag line on the perimeter of the fire station.  The ceremony will last approximately 45-60 minutes.  The service will consist of an invocation\, speeches by guests/dignitaries\, a laying of a memorial wreath\, the flags being moved to half mast\, and the reading of the names of all of the firefighters killed in the line of duty in 2013.
