SK3 Melvin G Knapton served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kent Island in the Pacific. \nThis will be a Veterans format. The service will be at the LDS church on 5750 S Nena Way in Murray at 11:00 AM on Thursday\, August 25\, 2016. We will stand a flag line at the church and then escort SK3 Melvin G Knapton to his final resting place in the Murray City Cemetery on 5490 S Vine St in Murray\, where we will stand another flag line. \nThe ride captain for this mission will be Dave Richardson and he can be reached at: 801-641-6009. \nStaging: 11:00 AM at 7-Eleven\, 5900 State St\, Murray.\nKSU: 11:30 AM \nWeather: Mostly sunny with a high of 84.
