Barnes has graciously requested the Patriot Guard Rider’s presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest.  MCPO Barnes served his Country in the U.S. Navy and performed duties as a Boatswain Mate & Navy SEAL Team member. \nMCPO Barnes’s combined active duty and reserve duty service totaled an astonishing 41 years\, 6 months of faithful service to his Country.  During MCPO Barnes’s service\, he was deployed to several locations for various lengths of time\, for which the family had no knowledge of his location or when he would return home. \nUpon completion of his military career\, MCPO Barnes received an Honorable Discharge.
