Fellow Riders,
It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that America has lost another True American HERO. The family of Jack Carl Straight has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand for their loved one.
Chief Jack Carl Straight passed away Tuesday, 16 August 2016 at the age of 80. Chief Straight served in the United States Navy 20 years 7 months and 11 days. He received a National Defense Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and Meritorious Unit Citation, being discharged with an Honorable Discharge as the rank of TMC. Other awards and commendations are unknown.
The Patriot Guard Riders are honored to stand a silent flag line for this American Hero at the ASVMC committal shelter during the 2:30 service.
United States Navy will provide full military honors.
