ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Mr. Hunt “Don” has asked the Patriot Guard to stand for their hero, and we are proud to do so. Mr. Hunt served in Vietnam as a helicopter gunner, and retired after 11 years of service to this country. During his time in the service, he earned many medals and awards, including: Army Commendation medal, Republic of Vietnam Service medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign medal, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Good conduct Medal (X3).

We will stand a silent flag line from 12 noon to 2:00 pm, then stand down for service. We will then escort this veteran to the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery – Glennville.
