ABOUT THE MISSION:

SSG Hernandez passed while on active duty serving 285h Aviation Battalion. He is a 12-year Navy veteran performing duties on the F-18 as a hydraulic and structural mechanic. He then enlisted in the Arizona Army National Guard as an AH-64 and UH-72 crew chief which he has served for the past 11 years. He has been awarded the Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal, Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, Navy “E” Ribbon, 3 Navy Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, and Army Service Ribbon, Basic Aviation Badge.

Special Note: Following CDC guidelines and directions from PGR National & State Captain, the following precautions need to be followed: If you feel ill or have a temperature, please stay at home. We will see you again when you are better.  If you have COPD, other respiratory issues, or other medical condition that make you a high risk we ask that you consider continuing to stand down until conditions improve considerably. Please have a face mask with you that covers both the mouth & nose. During the mission you will be informed where/if/when it needs to be worn. No handshakes or hugs for greetings and goodbyes. Upon returning the flags to the FC please wipe/spray the poles with the provided disinfectant. Maintain a six-foot separation when standing the flag line. Wash hands before, during (as practical), and after the mission.
