ABOUT THE MISSION:

Mr. Kanter, 94, served in the US Navy from 1943 to 1946. His first assignment was as a gunner on the SS Hitchcock. He held similar positions on the SS Short and USS Gear during World War II. He also participated in Honor Flight Austin.

Special Instructions:

We will form a flag line at the funeral home prior to the start of the service. Once the service begins we will strike the flag line and stand by to join the law enforcement escorted procession to the nearby Austin Memorial Park Cemetery where we will form a second flag line for the interment portion.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
