The family of Marmon Payntar has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their hero for his service and sacrifice to his country. We are honored to do so.
Marmon served in the United States Army 1946 to 1949, in the Pacific Theater at the end of WWII. His assignments in the Infantry included Motor Pool SGT and Supply SGT. Marmon attained the rank of Sgt E5 at the time of his discharge.
Following his army service Marmon was a tool and dye machinist on the east coast, later moving to California. He started a machine shop in Walnut, the Swingers Custom Motorcycle Shop, specializing in making custom motorcycle parts and accessories.
Marmon is survived by son George Charles (PGR Member from Texas) and daughter Melody. He also leaves five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage.
