ETR1 Mark McNabb served in the US Navy from 29 November, 2006 through 17 February, 2017. Mark’s specialties were SSN Radio Frequency Operator, TRIDENT I/II Radio Frequency Operator , Common Submarine Radio Room Maintenance Tech, SEAL Delivery Team Tech. Mark took advantage of any schooling the Navy would put him through to be the best at whatever he attempted. His awards are as follows: National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Letter of Commendation-Flag; Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5 Awards), Navy Good Conduct Medal (3 Awards), Navy “E” Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (2 Awards), Meritorious Unit Commendation, Enlisted Submarine Warfare Specialist Breast Insignia, Expeditionary Warfare Specialist Breast Insignia, Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal, SSBN Deterrent Patrol Pins (6 patrols).

  1. Know we all love you and miss you Son! I’m trying to grasp the fact I can’t call you or see you. You were and are an awesome person deserving of so much better than you got and I wish I could take away all that you were thinking about to take away your pain.
