ABOUT THE MISSION:
FC3 Mark R Berrett served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. FC3 Mark R Berrett enlisted in the Navy right out of high school. He served aboard the USS Charles Ausburne, DD 570 and the USS Kinzer, APD 91.
He served in the Okinawa area, and was there during the period of the Kamikaze raids, until the atomic bomb was dropped and the war ended. He also spent part of his service off the coast of northern China.

KSU: 10:30 AM, this will be a Veteran’s format. We will stand a flag-line at the mortuary and then escort FC3 Mark R Berrett to his final resting place, Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E 2850 N in North Ogden, where we will stand another flag-line.
Weather: Mostly cloudy with a 10% chance of showers and a high of 42. Please dress accordingly and keep yourself hydrated. Anyone attending in a cage and willing to transport flags please contact the RC.
