Loganville, Georgia – 10-17-19
Loganville, Georgia – 10-17-19
ABOUT THE MISSION:
Eight years ago the Patriot Guard Riders welcomed home wounded Army MSG Mark Allen with a flag line and motorcycle escort for him and his family to their Loganville, Ga home. MSG Allen spent two years in the hospital after he was critically wounded in July 2009 while searching for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl who at that time had been reported missing from his post in Afghanistan. Traumatic brain injury due to being shot in the head by a sniper dramatically changed life for MSG Allen and his family, confining him to a wheelchair and depriving him of his ability to speak. Now sadly eight years later Mark has succumbed to his injuries. We have graciously been asked and will join MSG Mark Allen’s wife , their two children, family and friends and escort them along a similar route as this American hero is laid to rest in Loganville, Ga. .Please join us as we stand a flag line of honor for visitation, funeral services and escort to his final resting place.
