The Marine Detachment at Ft. Gordon has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand during this event and we have told them it will be our honor to participate. The Patriot Guard Riders will provide a flag line for the opening ceremony of the United States Marine Corps “Marine Tribute Run” on Barton Field, Fort Gordon GA. The intent is to pay a tribute to those Marines and Navy Corpsman who have given their lives in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. This tribute includes a three mile individual run for each of the 1,500 plus Marines/Sailors that have been killed during these two operations.

Special Instructions:
This mission requires entrance to Fort Gordon GA. All motorcycle riders are required to wear a DOT approved helmet,full fingered gloves, boots at least 6″ high, and a reflective vest/bright colored clothing, long sleeve and long pants. In addition, please ensure you have a valid drivers license with photo and proof of insurance. No Firearms are allowed on Ft. Gordon.
