Obituary: Bellaire Police Officer Marco Anthony Zarate passed away July 12, 2016 in the line of duty at the age of 52. Marco was born in Houston, Texas, October 2, 1963. He served in the United States Marine Corp.
Marco leaves behind his wife Cecilla, three daughters, his parents, three sisters and many nieces and nephews.
He was an active member of the Thin Blue Line police motorcycle community, a volunteer with the Special Olympics, and had earned a second- degree black belt in karate.
