ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. Manuel Peña Rosas US Army veteran (76), has requested our presence for his visitation and memorial services. Mr. Rosas served his country in combat in Vietnam and Desert Storm and was proud to be a Black Hawk pilot. During his 32 years of service Mr. Rosas earned the rank of Chief Warrant 4 (R) & the following awards & medals: Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal (2nd Award), Meritorious Service Medal (2nd Award), Air Medal (4th Award), Army Commendation Medal (2nd Award), Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal (2nd Award), Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award). Vietnam Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal w/2 Bronze Stars, Bronze Service Star,
Non-commissioned Officer’s Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon ( 3rd Award), Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation w/palm, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Senior Army Aviation Badge and Aircraft Crewman Badge.

Please Note: Please stage on the entrance road to the cemetery at the second left turn after entering the main gate off Statesville Boulevard. Pull over to the right as far as possible to allow traffic to pass. Please DO NOT enter the cemetery from Brenner Ave. to avoid disturbing any services that may be ongoing. After the briefing, and any previous services have cleared, we will proceed to the pavilion and establish a flag line for the arrival of our Hero***
