VIETNAM VETERAN
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the Family of SP5 Manuel George Gonzales, U.S. ARMY, to stand in his Honor and escort him to the Barrancas National Cemetery. SP5 Gonzales entered the U.S. Army in Oct. 1967 and served until Oct. 1969. During his service he served a tour Vietnam.
Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 7433 Pine Forest Road, Pensacola, FL. is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial services will be conducted at Pensacola Memorial Gardens at 10:30 am. To be followed with an LEO escort and Military Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Fl.
NOTE: Naval Air Station requires that you ride with long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT Approved helmets, leather foot wear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection. This attire will be maintained at all times while riding aboard the base.
Itinerary:
0930 – Staging at Hardee’s 2500 Wilde Lake Blvd., Pensacola, FL.
1015 – Briefing, all hands will attend
1030 – KSU to Pensacola Memorial Gardens, Pensacola, FL.
1050 – Color Guard
1100 – KSU to Site “A” at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL.
1145 – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery
