He received the Korean  Service Medal\, Vietnam Service Medal\, National Defense Medal\, and  RVNC/60 Device. \nAfter retiring with 20 years service in the Army he was employed with Gulf Oil and Chevron Oil for 10 years. \n\nPRIMARY STAGING DETAILS:  25 Aug 2017\nPrimary Staging Time: 09:15 A.M. \n\nHathorn Funeral Home\n167 Hwy 198 East\nColumbia\, Mississippi – 39429\n\n\nRide Captain: \n\nMark Alexander\n601-408-3250\n\n\nSpecial Instructions: \n\nVISITATION: Flags will be posted for visitation Thursday 24 August 2017 5  pm to 9 pm at Hathorn Funeral Home\, 167 Hwy 198 East\, Columbia MS 39429 \nSTAGING FOR FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday\, 25 August 2017 at 9:15 am at  Hathorn Funeral Home . The PGR will post flags until the beginning of  the service. \nESCORT: Immediately following the service the PGR will escort SFC Cooper  to Caney Baptist Church Cemetery\, 13 Luther Saucier Rd\, Lumberton MS  and provide a silent US flag line for the graveside service. \nEscort distance 15 miles\, large motorcyle flags encouraged.
