Mission Summary: The family of Major Nicholas Rose has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to serve as pallbearers and stand a Flag
Line at his Memorial Service, and again serve as pallbearers and stand a Flag Line at his Interment Service.

PART 1: Flag Line at Holy Family Catholic Church
Mission Date: Aug 29, 2016 – Monday

Briefing Time: 10:15
In Position Time Or KSU: 10:30
Service Start Time: 11:00

Details Of Part 1: After the mission briefing, Riders will stand tall and silent on the Flag Line in honor of Maj Rose’s Service to his Country while family and friends arrive. Prior to the Service, our certificate will be presented to the family and Riders will serve as pallbearers as directed.

When the Service begins, Riders will return the flags to the support vehicle, furl, and stow them. Riders will then be debriefed and dismissed to the cemetery for Part 2 of the mission. Selected North Texas PGR pall bearers will remain at the Church to transfer Major Rose to the coach after the Service for his final journey to the cemetery. There will be no procession

PART 2: Flag Line at Maj Rose’s Interment Service at Dallas Fort Worth
National Cemetery.

Service Start Time: 13:15

Details Of Part 2: After the mission briefing, honor bikes will assume their position in staging lane C and await the arrival of Maj Rose and his family and friends. All other Riders will move to shelter C to set the flags and await the arrival of Maj Rose, family, and friends. PGR will again have the honor to serve as pallbearers to move the Major from the coach into the shelter. At the conclusion of the Service, flags will be returned to storage, furled, and stowed and the Riders will be debriefed and dismissed.
