Fellow Riders,
It is with heavy heart that I must inform you that America has lost another True American Hero… The family of LTC Thomas McKinstry, 81 yr. old who passed away on 1 June 2016 has requested the Patriot Guard to stand in honor of their loved one. LTC McKinstry retired from the United States Army after 21 years of service. LTC McKinstry was in Vietnam as a Combat Army Pilot in 1967-68 and was awarded the Bronze Star, 28 Air Combat Medals, among other meritorious medals & honorable citations and was Honorably Discharged. There will be visitation at the Christ the King Catholic Church, Daphne, Alabama at 1000 hrs to 1100. The Patriot Guard will escort LTC McKinstry after the service to the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL.
Please bring water to stay hydrated especially in our extreme heat.
