DESCRIPTION:Fellow Riders\, \nIt is with heavy heart that I must inform you that American has lost another True American Hero.\n\nThe family of LTC Thomas A. Ford\, Jr. (Ret) has requested the Patriot Guard to stand a Silent Flag Line for their loved one.  Mr. Ford passed away on 26 June 2016\, at the age of 82.\n\nHe served in the U.S. Army as a transportation office where he commanded 5 different units in Germany during the Cold War.  He also served at Eglin\, Florida during the Cuban Missile Crisis then back to Germany.  After Germany\, he had a tour of duty in Vietnam. His awards and commendations are unknown at this time. \nAfter the Army he returned to Mobile and was very active in various Mobile organizations.
